About Our Training Solutions
At RTM Consulting, we specialize in helping services organizations get better at what they do. Our training practice takes this concept down to the delivery practitioner level. Regardless of title, seniority, or position, our mission is to equip anyone in a client-facing role with the consultative soft skills they need in order to have more effective interactions with your clients.
If you think about it, when your delivery practitioners are deployed in the field, they are not simply performing technical tasks. Rather, they are: 1) the face of your company to the end client, responsible for delivering the value associated with your solution; 2) your organization’s eyes and ears into new opportunities for your company; and 3) creating a lasting impression (good or bad) in the minds of current and future buyers. Therefore, every interaction matters, and delivery practitioners must be properly equipped to engage with client stakeholders at all levels, build and cultivate relationships, communicate effectively, manage scope creep, effectively handle complaints and issues, and identify new opportunities – the consultative soft skills every delivery practitioner needs.
Our Approach – PS University
Training is most impactful when it resonates with students. PS University is our brand of training that features tools, techniques, concepts, discussions, and activities designed by PS experts to specifically apply to a consulting and professional services audience.
Our modular consultative soft skills curriculum can be delivered in a traditional classroom, virtually with a live instructor, or on-demand via pre-recorded learning modules hosted in our LMS. Our clients often pair our learning modules with interactive case study exercises, tailored to their project and client scenarios, to allow their team to role-play and practice what they have learned in real-life situations – the practical application to drive behavior changes and help them stick.

- Identify and respond to situations in a positive manner – in general, and when dealing with risks, issues, and scope management challenges
